To Nurture People, Technology and Organization
The phrase “to nurture people” means hiring capable personnel and enabling them to fully develop their capabilities. It also means cherishing the personal fulfillment that the employees feel in achieving technological advancements, and enhancing their personal growth. The goal is to create an organization where employees are able to correctly recognize their respective roles within the company; an organization where they can cherish teamwork while fulfilling their roles and building an environment that is conducive to forming such human character.
The phrase “to nurture technology” means contributing to our clients by acquiring high levels of technological advancement and management know-how in our business domain. Additionally, the Staff Department is required to support the business operations through its pursuit of higher levels of technology expertise and business management capabilities. The technology and the management know-how obtained shall thus be conveyed to the next generation of employees.
The phrase “to nurture the organization” means creating a management system that can be succeeded and accumulated as “registered know-how” in terms of the technology, achievements and knowledge secured by the employees in executing a turnaround from the past system, which was dependent on individual skills. Also, in the management phase the transparency and accountability of the organization must be guaranteed through the creation of management decision-making rules and clear authority and accountability measures. Communication must be maintained between management and employees by ensuring that all employees are thoroughly informed of management policies, and by reflecting the employees’ opinions in the management practices. The goal is to establish a permanent, stable system of management by creating and operating such an organizational setup.
